La Alpargatería by mint&rose

This summer, at mint&rose, we wanted to return to our roots. To that place where tradition, Spanish craftsmanship, and summer meet: La Alpargatería.

Born as a tribute to our roots and all those summers that have accompanied us this far, this activation featured a special staging at our store at Ayala 26, Madrid.

But if there is one thing that has defined this summer, it has been the opportunity to get closer to our community and share the process with you through our espadrille personalization workshops. Sitting down, choosing colors, trying out combinations, and discovering that behind each pair lies a small story and a careful artisanal process.

The starting point is our classic Figueres espadrille, available in a flat or wedge version, which each person can customize by combining one, two, or even three ribbons of different colors to find their own combination that will make their espadrille unique.

An experience that began in our Madrid stores and that, throughout the summer, we have taken to other special spaces and partners such as Vogana in Seville; Décadas S.XX in Cantabria; and Marbella Club Hotel in Málaga, where we have hosted several espadrille personalization workshops.

We also wanted to share this project with our own team during an unforgettable team building day at the Hotel Boutique Fuente Aceña, in the heart of Ribera del Duero. An occasion to enjoy the creative process together and ensure that, once again, no two pairs of espadrilles were alike.
