At mint&rose, we passionately embrace the authenticity of handcrafted and local production in our factories. Each bag is a captivating story, full of value and unparalleled quality in raw materials and processes.
It is a great honor for us to bring that craftsmanship to every corner of the world, and we thank all of you who are part of this experience.
Some of the steps involved in the making process include leather sectioning, hand cutting, the use of a patacabra (a specialized wooden tool used to treat leather by beating it), the machine sewing of every piece followed by the polishing stage, among others.
On the day of our visit, we chose to learn more about the handcrafted manufacturing process of our iconic Positano Cuero handbag from start to finish. We can´t wait to go back and be let in on more secrets behind the rest of the creation process!. Watch this space.
Espadrilles
In this Murcian town, the headquarters of jute production in Spain, mint&rose has been manufacturing its espadrille collections for over 6 years. Known as 'the golden fiber,' natural jute is 100% biodegradable and recyclable, making it environmentally friendly.
Our factory handcrafts the different models designed based on a Mediterranean lifestyle, and later adapted to urban life.
With the expertise of handcrafted artisans, precision, and care in every step of the manufacturing process, we realized the value of each final product that leaves the factory. There, we encountered local workers with over 40 years of experience in the profession.
Shoes
With over 60 years of experience in the footwear industry, our shoe factory in Elda embodies the 'Made in Spain' craftsmanship that represents dedication and the pursuit of excellence. The secret behind each of our shoes lies in every single person involved in their manufacturing.
To perfect our product, we decided to showcase the manufacturing secrets of our already iconic Sol Negro Hebilla boot. We aim for durability in our products, which is why we have been working with the factory that best met our needs for years. There, we found skilled artisans and the highest quality leather for our footwear.
